Assisting With Classroom Duties

Today I was asked to assist the educators int he room with the classroom duties. Throughout the day I was given several responsibilities and tasks to complete.

In the morning, I worked on a valentines craft with the chidlren. The children each painted four popsicle sticks pink or red. I was helping them prepare for a future valentines craft.
I was also given the responsibility to read a story for the children at story time. In fact, i held a discussion about he story by asking them who was in the story, where it took place, and what it was about. The children really enjoyed this experience.

At the end of the day, i packed the children's bags with the material that had to go home, and I assisted them with putting on their winter gear. The educator was very grateful for my help.
