Fall Words Beginning & Ending in S
This activity was very interactive. The children were eager to participate and willing to come up to the board and write their answer. The children are learning about the letter S, so I wrote down some fall words that end and begin with the letter S. If the children couldn't read the word, I would show them the picture that went with each word.
The children did a wonderful job with this activity. They were participative and did a great job in figuring out where the letter S belonged in each word!
I would have the children sound out each word and tell me where it belonged in the word. When they answered correctly I invited them up to the board to write the letter S where it belonged.
