What Animals Hibernate In Winter?
This week i will be introducing the concept of hibernation. The children will listen to stories about animals hibernating and will then reflect on the reading and discuss which animals hibernate.

I will provide the children with small clipart images of animals that hibernate, migrate, or adapt. The children will identify the animals that hibernate and tape them onto the board.
​
Hibernation Station by Michelle Meadows is a great introduction story book to hibernation. It is engaging and interesting for the children to read or hear.
