Yesterday, I read the story The Mitten to the children. In the story Nikkie loses his snow mittten and then finds it again at the end of the story. For this, I wanted to encourage the children to think about something they have lost and then found again. The children were asked to write a sentence and draw a picture of the item they lost and where they found it.
