For this activity, the children reflected on the story that I read to them yesterday. The children were to retell the story by placing the props into the ziplock bag (caterpillar belly). This activity challenged the children to remember the order in which the caterpillar ate the food.

This activity encouraged the children to expand their language skills and cognitive skills as they think about the story they heard and try to retell the story to the best of their ability.
