Valentine Bingo
This week is the week of Valentines Day. The children are very excited about giving treats to their friends and also receiving them. During Centre time the children often play bingo with their peers. For this, I decided to implement a small group activity with the children in which I would call out the item and they would fill in their bingo matts. The children were eager to play and excited to shout out bingo!
One thing I noticed in particular that made me very happy was the way the children worked together. The SK children helped the JK children with finding the item on their own matt. In addition, they would repeat what I said to help the others hear the words. The children were all excited for one another when shouting out bingo and nobody got upset or jealous if they did not have a chance to say bingo.
